Daily Crowns

The 7×7 board is split into 7 colored regions. Place exactly one crown in every row, every column and every color region. Crowns can't touch each other, not even diagonally. Tap a cell once to mark it with ×, tap again for a crown, and once more to clear it. Drag across empty cells to mark them all with ×. There's always exactly one answer, so it's logic, not luck. There's a new puzzle every day, and everyone solves the same one.

How to play

1. Place one crown in every row, column and color region.
2. Crowns can't touch, not even diagonally.
3. Tap once for ×, twice for a crown, three times to clear. Drag to mark many cells with ×.
4. Today's puzzle only counts once. The clock starts when you open it and keeps running even if you leave.

Tips for a better record

• Start with the smallest color region. It has only a few possible spots.
• After placing a crown, mark its row, column, region and the 8 cells around it with ×.
• If a color region sits entirely within one row, no other cell in that row can hold a crown.
