Chimp Test
Is your memory better than a chimp's?
What is this game?
A memory test: remember where the numbers are scattered, then tap them in order starting from 1. The moment you tap 1, all the other numbers are hidden, so you have to memorize their positions at a glance. You start with 4 numbers and get one more each time you pass. The game ends when you use up all 3 chances. Some chimpanzees are known to beat humans at this very test. Play the same board as your friends and see who remembers more.
How to play
- Numbers appear across the grid. Remember where they are.
- Tap 1 and the other numbers turn into blank tiles.
- Tap the remembered spots in order: 2, 3, 4β¦
- Get them all and one more number is added. A mistake costs a chance. Use up all 3 and the game ends.
Tips for a better record
- There's no time limit before you tap 1. Take a good look first.
- Remember the path (1β2β3) as a shape instead of each number on its own.
- Group numbers that sit close together.
